DMS 24

2023/24 was a massive step for the car. In our second year using an all electric powertrain we achieved our best competition placement to date – 4th overall at Formula Hybrid + Electric in Loudon, New Hampshire.

DMS 23

2022/23 was a big change for Dalhousie FSAE as we transitioned from an internal combustion engine to an all electric powertrain. This brought on some major design changes as we navigated the world of electric vehicle design. The car competed at Formula SAE in Michigan in spring of 2023. 37th out of 61


DMS 19

DMS-19 competed in Michigan again, where the team placed 48th out of 110 teams, scored 17th in engine efficiency, and the car was able to complete all dynamic events.

DMS 18

After a difficult Michigan competition where the team struggled with a failing starter motor, the team refined the drivetrain system through a new electronic shift mechanism and datalogger.


DMS 17

The team changed drivetrain to a CRF-450 Engine and attended both FSAE Michigan and Formula North.

DMS 15

The 2014-2015 car continued to develop on the results we made in 2014. The team competed in FSAE Michigan, finishing 70th overall out of 118 teams.


DMS 14

The 2013-2014 season made vast improvements on previous designs, and resulted in the team’s best rankings yet – an impressive 20th overall (out of 97 participating international student teams) at Formula Student UK held at the Silverstone Race Circuit in Towcester, England.

DMS 13

Continuing to build on the team's success in Michigan, placed 40th overall out of 120 teams, and for the first time the team competed in the UK finishing mid field.


DMS 12

Competed again in Michigan placing 58th overall, and among the top ten for technical drawings.

Competed in Michigan for second time, improving overall placing to 77th out of 120 teams

After two-year hiatus, team restarted and competed in Michigan for the first time, placing 93rd out of 120 teams
